HERMAN VISITED PRIMARY SCHOOL IN LEPENICA
Our Herman visited primary school in Lepenica close to Kiseljak. This workshop is the first activity with what Caritas in Bosnia and Herzegovina commemorate DRR day.
Within an hour Herman narrated his story about experience with different disasters, and what he has done after each and every disaster to ensure his house from hazards. During the performance Herman made laugh children and adults, with his unique style narrating his experience with floods, fire and loss of food, his survival the landslide and what he has done to hide when earthquake stroke. Herman always forget the numbers that he had to call for help, in Fire department and First aid, but kids helped Herman to remember them. His obliviousness in numbers also made laugh children because he forgot how many houses he needed to find. Herman has told them what they should bring with them if something happen and thought them about triangle of life and safe places when they feel earthquake.
In the end, Herman who really likes to share his photos gave children his photo without colours and asked them to colour him. He made picture with each of them and was excited about the colours he got from children. When he wanted to go home, children gave him a group hug and made him promise to come again. And he did! They just need to call him!
