In Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are many registered NVOs, however, it is not easy to find a proper partner and stakeholder, in sense of possibilities, organizational development, or either goals and values.
From the beginning of the implementation of the YourJob program, the goal was to gather as many partners and associates as possible to ensure the best possible implementation of the program, both through access to beneficiaries, young, unemployed people, and through access to services, training, education and other forms of support. It has been indicated, that the implementation and success of the program will be guaranteed only with the help of partner organizations, governmental and non-governmental. For this reason, at the very beginning of the development, but also the implementation of the program, a detailed analysis of all possible stakeholders operating in the implementation area was developed, and specific partner organizations were involved in the program. Particular attention was paid to the cooperation with non-governmental organizations working with youth, people with disabilities or disadvantaged women or student associations.
Youth organizations are one of the most important stakeholders, due to the group they represent as well as their membership, which provides them with access to the young unemployed people especially in smaller and rural areas. Within the program, particularly stands out cooperation with BRUM association in Čapljina, Youth association DOMPES in Mostar and association Duga in Banja Luka.
In Čapljina, in cooperation with the Youth Association BRUM, trainings were organized to strengthen youth soft skills, prepare CVs, cover letters, career planning. Also, YourJob organized a set of workshops where young people had the opportunity to test their knowledge of the English language, and obtain a certificate confirming the level of their knowledge, necessary for future job applications.
With DOMPES youth association in Mostar, YourJob managed to organize training for SPSS statistical analysis and a sewing course, as well as soft-skills training and info sessions for their members and affiliates. In addition, Caritas, due to its mission and previous experiences and implemented projects, is able and has cooperated with various associations and organizations that represent women's rights, especially in the area of Banja Luka, like the association Duga. Cooperation with this organization is especially realized in targeting young long-term unemployed women or women who did not complete their formal education cycle.
In addition, worth mentioning is the cooperation achieved with the associations that represent and whose members are persons with disabilities. In cooperation with these associations, several info sessions were organized, and in the coming period, a concrete realization of cooperation through the implementation of vocational education training and internship programs is expected.
Guidance counselors with their dedicated work, in all project locations, managed to establish contacts and cooperation with several associations and institutions that care for socially vulnerable young people, most often without parental care and in extreme social need. This is a very sensitive area of work and more attention is given to the creation of a trust, selection of proper education or skills those youngsters can benefit from. However, in return, the progress of these young people and their successes in self-building and empowering are a reward for the effort.
YourJob team in Banja Luka, Čapljina, Mostar and Caritas Bosnia and Herzegovina team is expressing gratitude for the excellent partnership. YourJob will continue its work in carrying out its mission to strengthen and empower young people to integrate into the labor market, in cooperation with several partners without whose support the implementation of the program would not be possible or sustainable.
